     Chris Chong grew up in Southern California in the city of Arcadia. After graduating from the public high school, he attended the University of California, San Diego for his freshmen year of college. During that first year, however, feeling the sense that God was calling him into pastoral ministry, he transferred at the end of the year and began his studies in theology at Pacific Union College.

     After graduating PUC in 2005, he served as the youth pastor at the Glendale Korean SDA Church for 5 years after which he studied for almost two years at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University. He then began his ministry as the English Ministry Pastor at the LA Central Korean SDA church where he grew up and served for 4 years. He is now serving as the English Ministry Pastor at the Oregon Central Korean church english ministry known as RoC Fellowship.

     Chris believes that the church is the hope of the world and works to lead a church to become a place where lives are changed. His passion is in leading churches to become mission-minded, innovative, intentional communities will change lives for Jesus.

     He has been married to Hee Yeon Kim for 8 years and has a 13 month old son names Miles.

     Chris enjoys music, design, and sports especially golf. He is an die-hard fan of the Green bay Packers.
